Our Projects
The Savannah Agriculture Project: Improving feed availability for the poultry industry
Timlarry Agro is implementing a project to develop the Savannah Agriculture Value Chain from 2024 to 2030. Overall, the project will benefit at least 2,000 people indirectly and 800 directly. It will add to the production of at least 1,000 hectares of new rice, maize and soybean, which will improve feed availability for the poultry industry.
Reducing on-farm waste and generating Additional income for cocoa farmers
Timlarry Agro is transforming the cocoa industry through its innovative upcycling of the cocoa fruit. We are one of the first organizations in West Africa to have unlocked a new value chain around the so far discarded cocoa pulp. Working closely with cocoa smallholders in Ghana, Timlarry Agro reduces on-farm food waste, and generates additional farmer income while at the same time bringing unique new ingredients to the food and beverage industry.
Investment in Food Security
Timlarry Agro currently operates over 3 crop storage warehouses in Ghana, and Burkina Faso. Our goal is to build an additional 20 modern warehouses in strategic locations across Africa. These warehouses will help preserve the lifespan of harvested crops and increase food availability. They will also enable up to 200,000 more farmers to access low-cost storage and maximise sales from crop harvests.
